EYFS (EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE)

At Holy Trinity, we use a holistic approach to teaching and learning. It is child-centered and uses self-directed, play-based learning in relationship-driven environments. We focus on the principles of respect, responsibility and community through exploration, discovery and play. This integrated approach to teaching and learning also focuses on connections to the natural world.

Teaching and Learning

At Holy Trinity School we recognise that children learn to be strong and independent and form secure relationships. We aim to develop caring, respectful, professional relationships with the children and their families. Our classrooms are set up as ‘the third teacher’ providing children with stimulating and challenging activities which the children can engage with independently. These are adapted and changed in line with children’s interests and current events.
